Here is a beautiful polished Chalcedony open Geode from Utah. This chalcedony has a wonderful reflective surface. Bright light going through at various angles reveal a beautiful glow. Inside surfaces shine like metal The surface is semi-transparent which sees into the depth of the geode. It is like looking into clean ice on a pond. The flat polish has succeeded tremendously in drawing out the effect. The finest chalcedony comes from this western state.
