Available here is a Dendritic Opal pendant banded in Sterling Silver.
This was designed and crafted by Alea Mari & Co. in Scottsdale, Arizona. The pendant represents the sophistication and cultural influence of the region of Kashmir. The exquisite silver work is traditional to the region. Jewelry work by this family has been continuing for 12 decades, beginning in the foothills of the Himalayas and eventually making their way to the Southwest U.S..
The Dendritic Opal is from the American Southwest. The .925 Sterling Silver is nickel free. The stone is banded in silver of the finest quality and design. The back is stamped '925'.
Kashmiri culture does not approve of signing ones work. The skill and craftsmanship, however, does say 'Kashmir'. The uniqueness of this piece, and the others that I handle, is the strong Himalayan influence merged with southwest materials, for a truly multi-cultural, Kashmiri/American creation of the highest quality and beauty.
A fine silver metal chain is included.
