This is a brightly painted Teal & Rainbow Talavera Frog. Hand painted and created in Mexico, this piece is very typical of the brilliant colors and designs used in Talavera ceramics. There is a hole in the back if you would like to hang it. The piece is solid and cheerful. Every color of the spectrum has been used in addition to the teal canvas of the frogs body. Colorful and festive shapes are a hallmark of Latin American, hand painted folk art, especially out of Mexico.
