Welcome! Here is an exquisite, one-of-a-kind high end Sunburst pendant!
This Southwest inspired pendant is an Ed Lohman original.
All of his creations are highly detailed, with incredible and advanced skill. The time commitment to create each piece is intensive. Each piece of jewelry has been designed by Mr. Lohman. Each piece has been created under stringent rules and methods taught directly by, and overseen by, Mr. Lohman. As Mr. Lohman told me, he takes people who have no prior knowledge of jewelry making so he can train them fresh in his methods.
This pendant is oval in shape with triangular and round secondary pieces entirely encircling the border. In this one pendant are 29 individual pieces with three types of gemstones. The orange spiny oyster gemstone is increasingly rare as it is no longer being harvested from the Sea of Cortez.
There is the bluest turquoise in here, as well as rich red jasper. On the bale is where Mr. Lohman's skill shines absolutely. The varying turquoise is separated from the others by way of delicate Sterling filaments hand laid in place. Stamped on the brushed silver back is 'EL Sterling'. Each of the perimeter pieces are cradled in fine silver. There are even one dozen silver extensions coming off the perimeter gemstones. The main turquoise cabochon has a thin, hand twisted fine silver braid wrapped around it. There is not one bit of area that is not embedded with pure beauty. Skill, time, and high quality were all combined to create this beautiful representation of the Southwest Sun.
This pendant represents a next step up in the beauty of Southwestern jewelry, and it will look fantastic on you!
The price I am asking is reflective of the great amount of quality and time, in both the skill and the natural materials, brought together to make this literally a one-of-a-kind pendant.
