This southwestern ring was hand created by Diné Silversmith Eddie Secatero . The ring features a prominent oval Tyrone Turquoise cabochon. This turquoise is renowned for its combination of sea green and deep blue mineral. The New Mexico mine closed in the 1980's and these pieces are becoming scarcer and are rising in value. This is one of the finer examples I have had in quite some time.
The turquoise is cradled in a wide band of sterling silver with hand created adornments surrounding. It is stamped on the back with 'ES' and 'STERLING'.
