This Septarian geode cross section slice is a perfect smaller size for someone who wants to display these but has limited space and budget. It has been formed from a superior septarian geode with everything wonderful about septarians in it. It has a pincer shape of yellow calcite intermixed with a border of brown aragonite, which in turn is surrounded by gray limestone. The surface has been polished to a near mirror reflection. It is thin enough to glow beautifully when back lit. This type of geode is also referred to as 'Dragon Stone'. It comes from Utah where the finest mineral beds of septarians in the world exist.
