Hi. Artist Vidal Corona is the master craftsman behind this pottery. His work covers a wide spectrum of creativity and design. But one of his favorite depictions are the parrots. His full skill and love for this animal is on display absolutely in this piece. One singular parrot is what consumes this pottery. He is accompanied by four images of his brethren encircling his waist. Their turquoise blue and green split tail feathers join in a beautiful synchrony on the underside. The animals neck is banded by a collar. In the shape of a many pointed star, the brick red adds to a sense of calm and peace. The beak of the head is beautifully formed and bold.
This Artists method includes glazing the pot with different colors. Then he etches fine outlines through the glaze to the underlying white clay.
I hand select each piece for sale and put each piece through a series of tests to make sure it is the highest grade pottery from the artists. AND, I do not charge more than the competitors selling inferior quality pieces.
A pottery ring is included with this figure.
Señor Corona signs his works on the bottom.
