This Mesa Verde inspired pendant is a creation by Ed Lohman of Absolute Jewelry. All of his creations are highly detailed, with incredible and advanced skill. The time commitment to create each piece is intensive. This pendant features the blackest of onyx, the most electric of tiger eye, and the highest degree of picture jasper detail. In addition are orange spiny oyster and red jasper and turquoise. A total of 7 different type of stones are used.
The artistry and materials do not stop there. Each piece is cut to the finest measurement, interlocking flawlessly with the adjoining gems. And between most of these pieces is the finest filament of sterling silver that holds and combines the elements into one masterful design. Even the bale has inlay! To witness how much detail is placed by hand into a space as small as this pendant is truly a marvel
As a final statement, a sterling silver trim of hand crafted southwest designs borders the side of the pendant from the top to the bottom. On the back is a frame of silver displaying the underlying base of picture jasper used for this piece. It is stamped 'EL' and 'Sterling'. All the silver used is .925 pure.
The price I am asking is reflective of the greatest standard of quality in both the skill and the natural materials brought together to make this literally a one of a kind pendant.
