The Mouth is a 'double bladed' opening. The name is obvious when you see it. There is an eye bending multi-colored diamond pattern across half the globe. Nearly every color glaze possible from the soil of Mata Ortiz is used. The other half of the piece has a white finely meshed pattern that appears like fine lace. On top of that pattern are two beaded lizards. Their detail is so fine, so realistic, one really believes the beads are real. But the surface is flat.
