This pottery has been created by Señor Aracely Ledezma. His style is immediately recognizable. He specializes in creating images by etching through the glaze to the underlying white clay. In this pot, the glaze is a beautiful brick red with swaths of blue, and the animal of choice is the dragonfly. The sky is conjured as adjoining polygons of tiny parallel lines.
