This pottery has been created by Señor Miguel Ramirez. His style is immediately recognizable. He specializes in creating images by etching through the glaze to the underlying white clay. In this pot, the glaze is a beautiful leafy spring green, and the animal of choice is the dragonfly. The sky is conjured as adjoining polygons of tiny parallel lines.
