A first of its kind offering, and perhaps anywhere is this Beehive Pottery by Janet Pedregon. Ms. Pedregon has created a wonderfully unique piece of craftsmanship. The piece has a unique pointed top sitting above a 'beehive of activity'. Three prominent bees are buzzing around the stepped opening. There are concentric rings near the top in ancestral Paquime style with a complimentary ring on the bottom half. The front and back are divided by broad brick red lines. The front half has a background of mesmerizing 'half circle rising sun' textures. The back half is occupied with with a myriad of triangles combing to form complex patterns. The colors flatter each other and are bright and bold. All the shapes are defined through fine etching. The time and the effort of detail has been immense to create the finished art work.
