A high quality pendant featuring at least 25 individually inlaid piece, seams on some pieces are too fine to distinguish as individual.
Prominently featured in the center of the pendant is a cocoa leaf. This leaf has been a central aspect of the ancient Inca culture for millennia. It's healing and sustenance providing properties has given it its high status.
A quality of this pendant is the amount of yellow spondylus used as the focal material. The shells color serves to distinguish the other materials in bold contrast. Interspersed with the abalone, the effect is strong and spiritual. The bale carries on this composition with its own individual piece of spondylus.
The bright orange of the spiny oyster gives a vibrancy which is not overwhelming but strikes just the right balance.
The back is a brilliant shield of .950 Sterling Silver which captures and magnifies any light which strikes it.
