This was designed and crafted by Alea Mari & Co. in Scottsdale, Arizona. The howlite is naturally a dull white. It is one of just a few gemstones which can accept dying to flawlessly portray Turquoise. Howlite with the influence of turquoise is a very desirable mating. The pendant represents the sophistication and cultural influence of the region of Kashmir. The exquisite silver work is traditional to the region. Jewelry work by this family has been continuing for 12 decades, beginning in the foothills of the Himalayas and eventually making their way to the Southwest U.S..
The Howlite stone is from the American Southwest. The .925 Sterling Silver is nickel free. The stone is embraced in silver of the finest quality and gallery design. The back is stamped '925'.
Kashmiri culture does not approve of signing ones work. The skill and craftsmanship, however, does say 'Kashmir'.
