This Nautiloid from the east African island nation of Madagascar is in superb condition with skilled handling to bring it to this point. The fine sutures are very defined and detailed. The mouth is wide and characteristic of the ancient Nautiloids. The entire fossil exhibits great qualities of preservation. The agatized material has replaced the original flesh of this animal down to the molecular level, with an outstanding result.
