Ed Lohman jewelry features Southwest inspired styles and materials.
All of his creations are highly detailed, with incredible and advanced skill. The time commitment to create each piece is intensive. Each piece of jewelry has been designed by Mr. Lohman. Each piece has been created under stringent rules and methods taught directly by, and overseen by, Mr. Lohman. As Mr. Lohman told me, he takes people who have no prior knowledge of jewelry, and schools them in his methods of fine jewelry craftsmanship.
This cuff is an overflowing variety of angular gemstones with silver inlay that as a whole creates a beautiful piece of jewelry. In this one cuff are 24 individual pieces with seven species (types) of gemstones.
The orange spiny oyster gemstones is increasingly uncommon. Both the cactus green gaspeite and purple sage sugilite are rarely used in jewelry creations
There is the bluest turquoise in here, as well as rich red jasper, and blackest onyx. The opal is also a stunning creation. Stamped on the solid silver back is 'Sterling'. As said earlier, skill, time, and high attention were all combined to create this beautiful piece.
