All of Artist Lohmans creations are highly detailed with amazingly advanced skill. The time commitment to create each piece is intensive. Each piece of jewelry has been designed by Mr. Lohman. Each piece has been created under stringent rules and methods taught directly by, and overseen by, Mr. Lohman. As the Artist told me, he takes people who have no prior knowledge of jewelry making, and schools them in his methods of fine jewelry craftsmanship.
This pendant is a joining of five different gemstones. The filaments of silver dividing sections are exquisite in their quality. The lapis lazuli is a deep ocean blue. The gaspeite is it's emblematic green apple green. The red jasper is rich and deep. A broad frame of sterling silver is wrapped tightly around these gemstones. The colors of the rich warm southwest desert are captured because of the combination of these intricately cut pieces
And then there's the bale. It is a broad piece of silver which adds greatly to the class of the pendant.
Stamped on the back is 'EL .925'. A window is left in back exposing the underlying picture jasper from which these pieces were built upon. A lot of time and high skill were combined to create this beautiful southwest pendant.
This pendant represents a blending of tradition and contemporary jewelry design while maintaining southwestern charm and traditional style. And most importantly, it will look fantastic on you!
It is the only jewelry you will need to wear for any occasion, though there's nothing wrong with wearing more of Ed Lohmans masterpieces as well.
The price I am asking is reflective of the great amount of quality and time, in both the skill and the natural materials, brought together to make this one-of-a-kind pendant.

Please be sure to see my other Ed Lohman creations!
The chain used in the photography is not included.
