This Ed Lohman pendant is unique. This elegant jewelry is comprised of 4 stones made from 3 three species. The focal piece is a large almond shaped oyster shell. The deep rich orange is characteristic of the high quality of this material. There are a pair of circular red coral, one is flat and the other is rounded. Sitting at the pinnacle is the loveliest softened blue turquoise oval.
There are several representations of the Native American symbolism concerning complimentary opposites which naturally occur in the universe. There is the flat coral and the rounded coral. There is the vertical oyster shell and the horizontal turquoise. Cradling all of this is a collar of sublime sterling silver, heavy in hand wrought detail occupying an amazingly limited space. These aspects combine to create a singular, unifying piece of artwork.
