Here is a mystical Earring and Pendant set in the image of the Inca Earth Mother, and it is created by the family run business of Urin Huanca*. The Earth Mother, also named 'Pachamama', was represented in the Incan Empire by this spiral design. The spiral is the 'Navel' of the earth, where all energies and life forces flow in and out of our reality and the next reality. This symbol also appears in many ancient petroglyphs throughout North & South America, leading some to suspect an overlap of cultures to one another a thousand years in the past.
This Pendant Earring Set is created from three elements. There is the white Mother of Pearl hand inlaid with Red Coral, both of which are from the Pacific shores of Peru. These are set on solid beds of .950 pure sterling silver, also from Peru. All three pieces are crowned with a single piece of Red Coral.
And to top it off, on the back of the pendant are 7 separate gemstones, each hand cut and set in roundels. The stones are: Sugalite, Lapis, Malachite, Azurite, Nacre, Spiny Oyster and Red Coral. The Family from Lima are second to none in the high quality of their pieces.
