This is a Dragonfly Pendant and Earring Set created by the family run business of Urin Huanca*. These Dragonflies are fashioned from the native insects local to Lima, Peru.
Spiny Oyster, Mother of Pearl and Sterling Silver were used to create this set. All materials are from Peru, from its Pacific shore to its high inland mountains. Fourteen individual pieces are in each piece, including a small roundlet of Mother of Pearl on the top. The sections have been created through hand cutting of the shell, set with the finest slivers of Sterling Silver thread between each. The silver is of the highest purity of .950 Sterling.
