This Grape Agate is from Indonesia where the finest pieces in the world are found. The grapes are tightly packed like molecules and the detail is amazing. Unlike most grape agate sold on eBay today, this piece shows the highest quality features. This particular piece actually shows layers from the edge! These layers extend out like balconies full of spheres. On several surfaces one or two orbs lie on a beautiful plane of rich lavender, showing their individual forms very nicely. There are scores of finely formed, round 'grapes'. The grapes have a microscopic, fine druzy quartz fuzz. The size of the spheres are varied and vary in shades of lavender. Grape agate at this price for this size is rare on eBay. Being shipped from Arizona means you do not need to wait weeks for delivery from a far off corner of the world.
