This is a fine half piece Dugway geode. The chamber is lined with the softest appearing Druzy quartz. The crystals look like ice. The flat polished face has mystical concentric rings encircling the chamber. Also referred to as a 'Thunder Egg', this geode, as with all my Dugways, is from the finest beds of geodes in Utah known as the Juab Formation. I buy these directly from the miners who excavate them. The underside has four round felt 'feet' for resting in a display position while protecting the surface of it sits on.
