Here is a new acquisition for my store. This is a very fine half piece Dugway geode. It is a single open chamber extending through to the bottom. The chamber is nearly rectangle contrasting the round shape of the geode. There are prominent botryoidal mounds inside which are covered with the finest druzy quarts of light blue. The opening of encircled by concentric rings of lavender crystal. Imagine what looking into an Artic cave must be like.
Also referred to as a 'Thunder Egg', this geode, as with all my Dugways, is from the finest beds of geodes in Utah known as the Juab Formation. I buy these directly from the miners who excavate them.
An acrylic stand will be included.
