This Septarian geode slice is a perfect size for anyone looking to step up their crystal and mineral collection. It has been formed from a superior septarian geode with everything wonderful about septarians in it. Spread across its entirety is a Rorschach pattern of golden yellow calcite wrapped in a border of deep brown aragonite. Islands of pure gray limestone float around the sea of calcite. The surface has been polished to a near mirror reflection. This type of geode is also referred to as 'Dragon Stone'. It comes from Utah where the finest mineral beds of septarians in the world exist. Do not mistake this for septarians from Africa! The calcite is translucent and backlit properly it can create a wonderful light display. Be sure to see all my other septarian pieces.
