This Septarian geode slice is a perfect size for anyone looking to step up their crystal and mineral collection. It has been formed from a superior septarian geode and has everything wonderful about septarians in it. Spread across its entirety is a lagoon of rich yellow calcite contained by a border of deep brown aragonite. Pools of pure gray limestone balance the lagoon from the inside and from the outer perimeter. The surface has been polished to a near mirror reflection. This type of geode is also referred to as 'Dragon Stone'. It comes from Utah where the finest mineral beds of septarians in the world exist. Do not mistake this for septarians from Africa!
