This Septarian geode slice is a perfect size for anyone looking to step up their crystal and mineral collection. It has been formed from a superior septarian geode with everything wonderful about septarians in it. The prominent feature is the large round shallow sea of liquid-like yellow calcite. In this lagoon are many islands of gray limestone lined with brown aragonite. The arrangement of this slice appears to be a bat in flight. The surface has been polished to a near mirror reflection. This type of geode is also referred to as 'Dragon Stone'. It comes from Utah where the finest mineral beds of septarians in the world exist. Do not mistake this for septarians from Africa!
