This Thunderegg is from the Richardsons Ranch in Oregon, the only state where you will find nodules of this quality. This is a double nodule having two adjacent sections filled with beautiful blue and white minerals. There are some rich and subtle striations, and white streaks that resemble meteors streaking across an evening sky. All the detail appears to be just under the surface, like a recently frozen pond. This is a fine mineral formation in the center of what was once two hollow bubbles from ancient volcanic activity. I include a clear acrylic stand to show this display piece.
