This Sterling Silver Cuff was designed by the contemporary artisan Charles Albert at his Florida studio and created by skilled craftsmen in Taxco, Mexico. The silver is .950 pure. The Sodalite was hand picked by Charles for the the sole purpose of creating this piece.
A length of silver was hand forged into thinner and more delicate lengths. When it reached this point, was seamlessly joined into a loop, and fashioned into an flattened oval softly bowed into this precious cuff. To crown this bold result, this magnificent cab of highly polished Sodalite was attached to it creating the centerpiece.
The joining of this cab onto the cuff is perfect and emerges as a singular work. The largely stated size of the Sodalite is uncommon, and the very soft orange, nearly white inclusions are practically unheard of in present day jewelry. The rich deep royal blue of this gemstone places this cuff on a separate level. Unfortunately once this is gone, there are no others here.
The Cuff:
Measures 1.75" x 2.6"
The Sodalite Cabochon = 1.25" x 0.75"
Weight = .85 ounces / 26 grams
Stamped - 'Charles Albert Sterling Silver'
