Welcome.

Consider bringing exquisiteness and serenity into your home with this ‘marble’.
Most 'high art' marbles in reality are not. This one is… and much more.
Glass Artisan Kevin O'Grady is the man who breathed the life into this. He is the man who developed, mastered and perfected the techniques for these creations, and his skill is ‘light’ years beyond his nearest competitors. He is the only craftsman who employs 'Vortex Dichroism'. What does that colossal name mean? Vortex is the effect in these orbs. When gazing into the glass, a vortex extends into the back, far into the back, farther than the dimension of the marble. The illusion makes the vortex appear to extend over 2 times farther than the marble actually is deep. Dichroism, in my very layman words minus the math, means the vortex in this glass exhibits different brilliant colors from the same object when viewed from a different angle. Everyone has had experiences where the details in stones or high polished wood seem to shimmer and move slightly when your angle of view changes. The video included here best illustrates this phenomenon. For this marvel, the main shades of the dichroism are metallic peacock blue, orange, mermaid pearl, and the richest gold. It is the ultimate material for creating the clearest, brilliant, liquid-like transparent orb possible. The underside of this are swirls resembling prismatic scales of a mysterious fish from a bottomless sea.

Some names given these museum pieces are;
Immortal Sky
Celestial Peacock
Creators Prism
Dreamland
Hubble's Eye

A number of Mr. O'Gradys works are in museums in Europe, in Asia, and throughout the United States. This is not your grandmothers' bauble. This orb IS the plateau in the world of glass art.
Master O’Grady signs and dates his work - IN GLASS - on the underside.
You deserve this sphere, and it deserves to be with you.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions. A small ring is included for setting this art glass.
