This is a well formed Dugway geode with an lovely, smile-shaped, open chamber covered in botryoidal druzy blue quartz with minuscule white lumps. The chamber has well formed layered blue border going encircling it. See the close-up photos.
Also referred to as a 'Thunder Egg', this geode, as with all my Dugways, is from the finest beds of geodes in Utah, known as the Juab Formation. I buy these directly from the miners who excavate them. An acrylic stand is included for displaying this crystal.
