Here is a beautiful polished Blue Flame Chalcedony Geode Half. The finest chalcedony comes from this western state. This chalcedony has a wonderful reflective surface. Varying degrees of blue create cross hatch puzzle piece patterns. There is even an minuscule open chamber at the base of the flame. Hidden in the chamber are the most microscopic coverings of druzy crystals. The surface is semi-transparent to see into the depth of the geode. It is like looking into fresh ice on a pond. The flat polish has succeeded tremendously in drawing out the effect. The acrylic stand is included.
