This is a beautiful Dugway geode with a large, prominent, single crystal chamber. The blue druzy quartz is well formed and dramatic. It is also beautiful when moved in the light. And speaking of light, this Dugway gives off a glowing green when placed in long wave UV light.
The flat polished face has mystical tiger stripe rings rippling across. Close-ups show richly formed crystal points. There is a small opening in the back, making this a through and through geode. Also referred to as a 'Thunder Egg', this Dugway is from the finest beds of geodes in Utah, known as the Juab Formation. I buy these directly from the miners who excavate them. An acrylic stand is included for displaying this crystal.
