This is a well formed Blue Dugway Prominent Chamber Geode Half. The chamber is blanketed with the finest blue druzy quarts with a fuzzy texture. It possesses many lumpy forms (boytroidal form). The face has a fine mirror polish. The inner blue quartz ring is surrounded by a chocolate brown layer. This is also referred to as a 'Thunder Egg'. As with all my Dugways, this geode is from the Juab Formation in Utah. The Juab Formation provides the finest geodes. I buy these directly from the miners who excavate them.
