This is a very fine half piece Dugway geode. This is two geodes fused together side by side. The chambers have beautiful druzy crystals that glimmer and twinkle in the dimmest light. The flat polished face has mystical concentric rings encircling the chamber. There is even some light dusting of white calcite. Also referred to as a 'Thunder Egg', this geode, as with all my Dugways, is from the finest beds of geodes in Utah known as the Juab Formation. I buy these directly from the miners who excavate them. The underside has four round felt 'feet' for resting in a display position while protecting the surface of where it is sitting.
