This is a well formed Dugway geode with a large, prominent chamber. The chamber is blanketed with the finest blue druzy quarts with a fuzzy texture. It possesses many lumpy (boytroidal) forms. The blue quartz deep chamber is shaped like a bat and is surrounded by a soft taupe chocolate brown layer. The face has a fine mirror polish. This is also referred to as a 'Thunder Egg'. As with all my Dugways, this geode is from the Juab Formation in Utah. The Juab Formation provides the finest geodes. I buy these directly from the miners who excavate them.
An acrylic stand is included for displaying this crystal.
