This is a beautiful Dugway geode with a chamber lined by minuscule, frost like-crystals. Pools of soft blue quartz spills out from the chamber. And quartz is surrounded by prehistoric, petrified mud-stone. The face has a fine, lake ice surface. Under long-wave Ultra Violet, these Dugways also glow - see photo. This is also referred to as a 'Thunder Egg'. As with all my Dugways, this geode is from the Juab Formation in Utah. The Juab Formation provides the finest geodes. I buy these directly from the miners who excavate them.
An acrylic stand is included for displaying this crystal.
