This is a special Dugway geode. The inner area features a starburst shape, open chamber with microscopic crystals lining the inside. This starburst is created from the purest soft blue mineral. Then there is the outer petrified ancient brown mud. The inner blue and outer brown contrast perfectly with each other. Also referred to as a 'Thunder Egg', this geode, as with all my Dugways, is from the finest beds of geodes in Utah, known as the Juab Formation. I buy these directly from the miners who excavate them. An acrylic stand is included for displaying this crystal.
