Welcome!
Available here is a Larimar pendant banded in Sterling Silver. This piece has the added allure of possessing three individual rounds. The bottom round has the most delicate hinging allowing it to swivel independently.
This was designed and crafted by Alea Mari & Co. in Scottsdale, Arizona. The pendant represents the sophistication and cultural influence of the region of Kashmir at the foot of the Himalayas. The exquisite silver work is traditional to the region. Jewelry work by this family has been continuing for 12 decades, beginning in the foothills of the Himalayas and eventually making their way to the Southwest U.S..
The .925 Sterling Silver is nickel free. The stone is banded in silver of the finest quality and design. The bale is stamped '925'.
Kashmiri culture does not approve of signing ones work. The skill and craftsmanship, however, does say 'Kashmir'. The uniqueness of this piece, and the others that I handle, is the strong Himalayan influence merged with southwest materials, for a truly multi-cultural, Kashmiri/American creation of the highest quality and beauty.
A fine silver metal chain is included.
The Measurements:
Total length including bale = 1.9 inches
3 rounds = 0.3 inch, 0.4 inch, & 0.5 inch
Weight = .25 ounces
