All this imagery is created through the method of ‘Sgraffito’. This art goes back to the ancient Greeks. The native white clay is enveloped in a dark glaze that Señor Bejarano has created from scratch. Once dried, he etches through the thick layer down to the underlying clay and creates this imagery.
