Artist Señor Jorge Corona Guillen is the master craftsman behind many of the animal figurines that come out of Mata Ortiz. His work covers a wide variety of animal figures. His pottery is an homage to his ancestors own figures, as with this expressive owl. These figurines from Mata Ortiz are very unique and wonderful.
